Record Masters Complete!

Some deeply wonderful news: all 10 tracks of my upcoming debut album have officially been mastered!

Sleepless nights.
So complicit in all that tech.

It's autumn. 2026.

8 years ago I decided this decade of my life was for music.
In 2019 there was one small EP and 7 gigs.
Then Covid ended that flow.

By late 2022 I began to hail a green bog lady, who in 2023 became a 𝘔𝘶𝘳𝘬𝘺 𝘔𝘶𝘳𝘬𝘺, 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘉*𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩.
She appeared in Vilnius, Seyðisfjörður and Eyrarbakki.

Then silence. Work. Ableton. Songwriting. Recording. Gaza. Genoc*de. Burnout.
Chronically online.Songs got darker. More feisty. Anti-fascist. Anti-war.
Orbital Flies. Siren. Splish Splash. Grief.

I imagined releasing the record end 2023, then end 2024, then end 2025. Did a crowdfunding. Had a ceramic residency.
Then end 25 after singing in Barcelona, I finally really stopped working on everything else and rested and finalized my songs.
It was fucking epic. So much madness.

Surely a release in spring 2026 then? Nay. End 2026? also Nay.
The mixing and mastering took until early October.
The graphic design waiting for my final decision. Lyrics changes. Cover image doubts. budget terror.

It's no easy feat to Produce-Sing-Write-Arrange-Compose-Play-Become-Channel-Mix-Master-Finalize.

Four years. BUT I DID IT! The record is 99.8% done.
Vinyl pressing takes another 8 weeks.

You guys and girls and enbies and aliens and elfish hotties: I think it's gonna be out on vinyl in January 2027. *fingers and toes crossed*

I am learning to be proud.

Never have I made something where every milestone opens another to-do list. Music album timelines are so trippy.
One label could release it in four years (!) but I can't wait that long.

So my baby can fly to all the queer goth eco-grief punk people who need to hear it.

Below is a cute photo James Ginzburg took while putting the finishing touches on the masters at his studio in Scotland. We're one big step closer to bringing this creature into the world!  I have not yet launched the official press release, but I have been sending out my EPK to labels and bookers over the last few weeks. The vinyl release seems to be happening in January, 2027. Thanks for all the patience.
